INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, August 30, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — NewSat North America, LLC (NewSat), a leading provider of C5ISR, communications, SATCOM, ISR, engineering, and mission-support solutions, today announced the award of a multi-million-dollar task order under the U.S. Navy’s C4I Integrated International Solutions II (CIIS II) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
NewSat’s award represents the first task order awarded under the CIIS II IDIQ, marking a significant milestone for both NewSat and the contract vehicle. The task order will support the U.S. Navy’s international program integration efforts on behalf of partner nations.
The effort will provide equipment and services to modernize and sustain partner nation maritime security and surveillance capabilities.
“Being awarded the first task order under the CIIS II IDIQ is a tremendous accomplishment for NewSat and our team,” said Bill Wolfe, Director of Business Development at NewSat North America. “This award demonstrates the confidence our customers have in NewSat’s ability to deliver complex C5ISR and maritime surveillance solutions, and it creates an important foundation for future opportunities under the CIIS II vehicle. Just as importantly, this work builds on NewSat’s legacy of delivering successful Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and supporting international partners with mission-critical capabilities.”
The task order builds upon NewSat’s extensive experience supporting U.S. Government and international customers through Foreign Military Sales programs. NewSat has delivered C5ISR, communications, surveillance, networking, engineering, integration, training, and sustainment capabilities in support of international security cooperation missions and geographically distributed operational environments.
“Our experience with FMS programs has taught us how to navigate complex requirements, coordinate across U.S. Government and international stakeholders, and deliver capabilities that are operationally relevant and sustainable,” Wolfe added. “We are excited to bring that experience to this effort and to continue expanding NewSat’s role in supporting U.S. national security and international partner missions.”
The CIIS II IDIQ provides the U.S. Navy with a contracting vehicle to procure integrated C4I solutions, equipment, and services in support of international partners. As the first task order awarded under the vehicle, NewSat’s award establishes an early presence on CIIS II and positions the company to support additional requirements as the Navy and its international partners execute future C5ISR initiatives.
“This award is an important milestone in NewSat’s continued growth as a prime contractor,” said Justin Filler, President and CEO of NewSat North America. “Our team has built a strong reputation for executing challenging C5ISR and FMS programs, and this task order allows us to apply that experience to an important maritime security mission. We are proud to support the U.S. Navy, PMW 740, and the Iraqi Navy on this effort.”
