Global experience gifting company plants more than 525,606 trees, offsets 200% of its carbon footprint, and continues investing in a more sustainable future

New York, NY (PRUnderground) August 7th, 2026

Tinggly, a global experiential-gifting company that helps people “Give stories, not stuff,” today announced the results of its 2025 Carbon Footprint Report, highlighting the company’s continued investment in sustainability while expanding its global footprint.

Founded on the belief that memorable experiences create greater value than physical possessions, Tinggly offers more than 150,000 curated experiences across 100+ countries, helping consumers celebrate life’s milestones while reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional gift giving. The company’s sustainability philosophy is woven into every aspect of its business – from eco-friendly packaging and carbon offsetting to global reforestation and conservation initiatives.

Among the report’s most significant accomplishments, Tinggly has now planted 525,606 trees through its reforestation initiatives since 2022, with up to 40 trees planted for every gift purchased. The company also continues to offset 200% of its carbon footprint, including emissions generated by both its business operations and the experiences redeemed by customers worldwide.

The report also details Tinggly’s broader environmental initiatives, including installing plastic-catching trash traps in Bali’s rivers to prevent ocean pollution, utilizing fully recycled and recyclable gift packaging printed with eco-friendly inks, and maintaining its membership in 1% for the Planet, pledging at least one percent of sales toward environmental causes.

According to the report, Tinggly measured total greenhouse gas emissions of 153.5 metric tons of CO₂ during 2025. While overall emissions increased alongside business growth and higher sales volumes, the company’s emissions intensity per experience remained essentially unchanged from the previous year, demonstrating improved operational efficiency as the business scales. The report also notes that Tinggly fully offset 308 metric tons of CO₂ through certified renewable energy projects administered through the United Nations Carbon Offset Platform.

“Sustainability isn’t a separate initiative at Tinggly; it’s central to why we exist,” said Algimantas Padegimas, Chief Growth Officer at Tinggly. “Our mission has always been to inspire people to give stories instead of stuff. Every experience we help create is paired with meaningful action for the planet, from planting trees and offsetting carbon emissions to investing in projects that protect the places where those unforgettable memories are made.”

Tinggly’s sustainability efforts have evolved alongside its growth since launching in 2014. Today, every purchase supports the company’s broader environmental mission while giving recipients the freedom to choose from thousands of adventures, getaways, culinary experiences, wellness escapes, and other unforgettable activities around the world. Rather than adding another physical item to a shelf or closet, Tinggly enables consumers to give lasting memories while contributing to a healthier planet.
