City of Beaverton awards five-year contract for online traffic school serving the. Beaverton Municipal Court Traffic Safety Program.
BEAVERTON, OR, UNITED STATES, August 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Defensive Drivers Institute is proud to announce its selection by the City of Beaverton, through a competitive request for proposals process, as an approved provider of online traffic school for the Beaverton Municipal Court Traffic School Safety Program. The five-year agreement began August 1, 2026 and runs through July 2031, giving Beaverton drivers a convenient, fully online option to complete their court-authorized traffic school requirement.
The Beaverton Municipal Court Traffic School Safety Program gives eligible drivers who receive a traffic citation the opportunity to complete an approved traffic safety course. Upon successful completion and satisfaction of all court requirements, qualifying citations may be dismissed, keeping the violation off the driver’s record. The program is designed to help drivers recognize and improve their driving habits, attitudes, and behaviors while promoting safer roads throughout the Beaverton community.
Defensive Drivers Institute’s Beaverton traffic school course is available entirely online and can be completed at each student’s own pace from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Progress is saved automatically, allowing students to start and stop as their schedule allows. Upon completion, students receive their certificate of completion for submission to the Beaverton Municipal Court in accordance with court instructions. Friendly customer support is available by phone, live chat, and email to assist students at every step.
In addition to the online course, Defensive Drivers Institute will offer a local classroom option for students who prefer to complete their traffic school requirement in a traditional, instructor-led setting. This gives Beaverton drivers the flexibility to choose the learning format that works best for them, whether that means studying online at their own pace or attending an in-person class.
The Beaverton contract continues Defensive Drivers Institute’s expanding footprint in Oregon, where the company has established partnerships with municipal courts across the state. With an office located in Oregon, Defensive Drivers Institute combines a local presence and understanding of Oregon courts with the convenience and reliability of a proven online education platform serving drivers nationwide.
Defensive Drivers Institute provides state-approved and court-approved driver education programs across the United States, including defensive driving and traffic school courses for ticket dismissal, teen and adult drivers education, and mature driver improvement courses.
